
meet Ray Garza…
Ray Garza is married to Lacey Garza. Together they have three children:
Jordan, their daughter, is graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in biology.
Jackson is entering his sophomore year at Texas Tech, following in his sister’s footsteps.
Jayden is an incoming junior at Rockport-Fulton High School and works as a lifeguard at the city pool.

Garza is a former Marine, working as a weather observer and military policeman, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Judge Garza has dedicated his life to service both in and out of uniform. He is currently serving the community as Aransas County Judge since 2023 and would love the opportunity to continue serving the citizens of our community.
Community-Driven
Judge Garza’s commitment to the community is deeply rooted in education and public service. As a former school board president, trustee, and active volunteer, he has spent years supporting local schools and advocating for student success. Judge Garza holds both a bachelor’s in human service and an MBA. His wife, Lacey Garza, is a dedicated public-school teacher. Judge Garza and Lacey understand the vital role education plays in shaping a stronger, more resilient county. His leadership reflects a lifelong dedication to learning, service, and empowering the next generation.
Compassionate
The Garza family also includes three beloved pets: Diddy the Dachshund, Dexter the shelter rescue, and Carolina the cat. Ray strongly supports the animal welfare community and is an active advocate for disadvantages pets of Aransas County.
