A Message from Aransas County Judge Ray Garza
Aransas County is officially beginning the transition into our new courthouse, and I’m grateful to share the schedule as each department moves into the facility over the coming weeks. Your patience and understanding throughout this long, challenging process has meant more than you know, and I sincerely appreciate the community’s steady support.
Below, you’ll find the timeline for when each county office will begin operating from the new building. Our officials and employees are working incredibly hard to prepare their new spaces, and I kindly ask for just a bit more patience as they get settled.
You may begin visiting these departments at the Aransas County Courthouse (located at 308 N Live Oak - Rockport, TX) on the dates specified for each department below:
Monday, December 1
• Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2 — Judge McGinnis
Tuesday, December 2
• County Judge’s Office
• Human Resources
• Veterans Services Officer
Wednesday, December 3
• County Auditor’s Office
Thursday, December 4
• County Treasurer’s Office
• Indigent Health
Thursday & Friday, December 11–12
• County Attorney’s Office
The Following Offices Will Continue to Remain at Their Current Locations. Their Move Will Occur at a Later Date. An Announcement Will Be Made at that Time:
